Full payment was taken two weeks in advance, which felt unsettling. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the hot food selection in the morning was a pleasant surprise.

Improve air conditioning efficiency in guest rooms.

The location of Portobelo Convention Center is great, right by the main beach, with access to restaurants and stores. I appreciate the continental breakfast, which offered a decent variety, including eggs and fruits. However, I expected a queen-size bed but got two twins pushed together, which wasn't comfortable for a couple. The air conditioning unit had no remote control, making it inconvenient to adjust from bed, and the bright blue lights made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom was small, and the water had a very unpleasant smell. Plus, there was no hot water at all during my stay, which was quite disappointing. On the positive side, the cleaning staff were wonderful and very friendly, while the front desk staff were a mixed bag. They completed their tasks but weren’t very welcoming. I wouldn’t return unless it was a last resort, considering how limited the hotel options in San Andres are. The experience is overshadowed by the inconveniences, despite enjoying the beautiful surroundings. San Andres is indeed a lovely destination, but this hotel needs major improvements to compete with others.

It was just a great match for a weekend rest in San Andres with outstanding value for money. Tip, plan on using your internet on the first floor only, as it doesn't work upstairs.

Staying at this hotel with my son's family was a blast! The staff was super friendly and always ready to serve us those refreshing mojitos. We truly enjoyed our hearty breakfasts, the arepas were a highlight every morning!

For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area.
